Home alterations, additions, remodeling, and other building projects are carefully designed by Susan M. Rochelle, A.I.A. Architect. As a wife and mother herself, Susan understands the inner workings of the home and today's demanding schedules. (Is a home office necessary? How many children might need to use the bathroom at one time? How much laundry is generated? Who does the cooking? Should the plans make provisions for pets?) Susan's homes, alterations, additions, and rooms are designed to meet today's lifestyle. Susan Rochelle develops strong working relationships and maintains open communication with her clients to make sure their needs are fulfilled with a rewarding and creative building experience. Her remodeling projects can be found on the east coast, including NJ and PA.
This Hunterdon County, NJ client required a large, gourmet kitchen to accommodate their extended large family, along with space to store large vehicles and a home office. Other spaces were also too small and in need of updating. The former wood deck has been replaced with a comfortable and gracious terrace and covered porch, allowing for entertaining in all kinds of weather. A new laundry room, powder room,pantry, mud room and dog-washing station are also part of this "new" home.
