This English Arts and Crafts home in Stockton, NJ was originally built with a two-car detached garage located at a distance from the home. Our client asked us to design an architecturally compatible addition that would connect the garage to the home and provide for a new family room for informal gatherings. The finishes on the new addition and the attention to detail we paid allow for a seamless composition that appears to have always been just as it is. This project was published by Design NJ magazine. Alterations & Additions
Home alterations, additions, remodeling, and other building projects are carefully designed by Susan M. Rochelle, A.I.A. Architect. As a wife and mother herself, Susan understands the inner workings of the home and today's demanding schedules. (Is a home office necessary? How many children might need to use the bathroom at one time? How much laundry is generated? Who does the cooking? Should the plans make provisions for pets?) Susan's homes, alterations, additions, and rooms are designed to meet today's lifestyle. Susan Rochelle develops strong working relationships and maintains open communication with her clients to make sure their needs are fulfilled with a rewarding and creative building experience. Her remodeling projects can be found on the east coast, including NJ and PA.
